I love the cover. It’s almost like Kate is running for election. Kate has a very engaging face. She’s immediately likeable. The graphics are pretty stimulating, too. I love the background colors on p. 7. They really augment the look. The discussion on p. 9 reminds me of classic film noir. “My name is Kate.” “Good for you.” Funny! p. 13. I like this silhouette panel on p. 20. Very cool effect. Ooh! And a nice mountainscape on p. 21. Almost a postcard.Great reunion with Sam on p. 32. Very touching scene. “I am the totally evil Colonel Mustard!” Nice introduction! p. 38. I wish the other authors I’ve read had a story that moved as quickly as yours. The action is pretty non-stop. p. 48. I love this view of home (the figure in the foreground blurred – nice touch). p. 58.I really enjoy your drawing style. Your characters have real personality. And your story has a lot of adventure, a little scariness and loads of humor (meep!). Thanks for making me laugh. I needed that!"
...woah...wow...
*mind blown* KAPOW!
Oh my gosh, this is amazing!
4's and a 5?! WOAH! That's PRETTY GOOD FOR A FIRST BOOK, IS IT NOT?!
And the judge's commentary....oh. my. gosh.
WOAH.
Where do I even start?
This is amazing.
Thank you so much! This really, really, really means a lot to me.
ahhhhhhhhh I cannot get over how awesome this is!!!!
"Thanks for making me laugh. I needed that!" As you may now, on the back of all my books, in the About the Author section, my goal is to inspire people and make them laugh. That goal is the most important thing to me. When I was writing the book, I thought 'If I can make just ONE person laugh with my book, it'll all be worthwhile." And it happened. Not just with the judge, but with my readers, too. It really does mean a lot to me. So, thank you for that. :D
