Deep Sea
This 2D-animated short film follows Roshini, a young girl lost in the mysterious depths of the ocean, as she embarks on a journey to find her way home. Guided by the faint glow of a halitrephes jellyfish, Roshini climbs the dark trench walls, encountering the wonders and dangers of the deep sea. But as Roshini inches closer to home, the question remains—will she ever truly escape the pull of the deep?

I challenged myself to make a film in the time it took to go on this walk and wanted to see how I could get something cinematic from an iPhone camera on the spot. The film was edited on iMovie on the car ride home.
